Will there be parking?
Yes! The venues for both the ceremony and reception have ample parking space.
Avenue United Methodist Church (the ceremony venue) has a parking lot that can be accessed from Church Street.
Carlisle Fire Co. (the reception venue) has a parking lot at the rear of the building that can be accessed from North Front Street. The road leading back to the parking lot is on the righthand side of the building, and the entrance to the reception hall will be facing the parking lot.
What can I do in the area?
Milford is a 30-40 minute drive from Rehoboth Beach, known as the “Nation’s Summer Capital.” You could walk the large boardwalk, or enjoy a day at the beach. Along the highway you can find waterparks, mini golf, Tanger Outlets, and more.
About 30 minutes north up Route 1 is Dover, with places to visit such as the Dover Mall and the Air Mobility Command Museum.
Milford itself has a large movie theater, as well as some great local restaurants to try.
